Madison Square Garden

In what is fairly huge news that's not being reported in much depth, RoH have booked Madison Square Garden for a show. It would make them the first wrestling group other than WWE to run the Garden in something crazy like 50 years, even WCW at their prime didn't run the Garden.

It makes me wonder if there might be a huge name they have lined up to scome in and headline, who's return to wrestling might be the biggest story of the year. Now, if only there was a guy who'd left WWE and got his ass handed to him in UFC who might be available...

Apperently WWE are trying to stop it.

I can't see that they can - they only use MSG for a couple of house shows a year now, the last time I remember it being used for a televised event would be a Network special a few years ago now. They're using the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn for the Raw after Mania next year, it's not being used for any of the Mania stuff, Summerslam is in Brooklyn too. Curious to know how RoH can afford it if WWE are reluctant to use it for much!

You can't bring an end to something so you can dominate the business and then try to stop others putting on a show because you used to be based there 30 odd years ago
